Families First of Minnesota has an immediate opening for a Health Coordinator (full-time) in its Head Start/Early Head Start Program. This position manages the health and safety domains of the Head Start Program and supervises assigned staff. This position is responsible for compliance with all Head Start Performance Standards related to nutrition, medical, mental health, disabilities, dental health and safety, and ensuring that parents and community members are involved in the process.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in health or a related field (RN or LPN preferred). Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards is helpful as well as experience with families from diverse and low-income populations. Proficiency in computer and software use a must. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work as a part of a team.
